About
Hi there! We're Michigan based couple who make travel a priority even with demanding day jobs, student loans and day to day responsibilities. We have now traveled to 14 countries in the last 7 years that we have been together. We enjoy scuba diving, hiking, backpacking, kayaking and exploring new places anywhere we go.

Some of our favorite adventures include free-diving with sharks in Hawaii, hiking the Inca Trail in Peru, extreme spelunking in the world's longest cave, being chased by wild otters while canoeing in the Amazon and landing in world's top most dangerous airports.
We also managed to score some of the best travel hacking strategies throughout the years that let us fly to many destinations for next to nothing, like our $100 round trip flight to Italy, unlimited companion pass for 2 years and free car rentals during every trip that we have taken. About Anna
Anna is the writer for the blog and in charge of all things related to social media. She is Ukrainian born who now lives in Michigan but thinks her home is the whole world. She works full time in corporate finance, but when she is not working you can't pay her enough to stay at home. She is always out exploring, hiking, traveling and finding any way to maximize miles and points.

Her biggest strength when it comes to travel is finding the best deals (hello travel hacking!), creating detailed itineraries and finding epic adrenaline pumping experiences. Her biggest weakness is no sense of directions. Seriously, don't ever tell her to go "Northeast", she has no idea what you're talking about. She thinks GPS is best invention of the century.

Aside from travel Anna loves yoga, watching independent movies, reading non fiction books and creating Excel models about reaching financial independence and early retirement. One of her biggest passions is animals and one day she hopes to work in an animal sanctuary.

About Joe
Joe is the face behind all the photos on our blog and social media. He was born and raised in Michigan but takes advantage of every opportunity to explore the world around him. He works as engineer and in his free time he loves playing video games, listening to audiobooks, traveling, hiking and diving.
​
His passion for diving started when he was very young. As he got older his passion only grew stronger which led him to pursue PADI Open Water Certification and a year later he became Advanced Open Water certified. He now takes every opportunity to learn about the underwater world and share his passion with Anna.
​
When it comes to traveling Joe is the one who ends up making decisions easy after Anna stares at 100 different hotel options for 3 days. He is also in charge of making sure they don't get lost...His biggest weakness is his hate for planning, he is more of "live in the moment" type of guy which sometimes leads him to forget important details, like thinking he can to fly to Mexico with a drivers license.
